Nature’s Frame

Michigan beaches, the dunes

national park, Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes

My husband stands between the trees, and makes a perfect photo opportunity for me, as my eyes are drawn to a natural frame in the landscape. We are at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Shoreline Park in Elmira, Michigan. Of course I had to make sure a sunset photo was planned as part of the trip here. The wind and the reflections on Lake Michigan were exhilarating and breathtaking!

With over public 100,000 votes, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore was named the “Most Beautiful Place in America” on ABC’s Good Morning America.
