It rained on our anniversary this year, but the rainbow was a gift. –We docked at Traverse City, Michigan – Clinch Marina in Grand Traverse Bay.

It takes time away from the every day work schedules to reflect. Time to think about how I’m leading my life and how I would like to feel like this, relaxed on vacation, and thinking about what I can do better. How can I be a better wife, be as creative as I can during the work week. I create more beaded jewelry on vacations than I do during a regular work week! My husband is very understanding and has valuable input to quality control. He also has a creative eye. If only we had more hours in the day to enjoy the fun stuff. Our fourth wedding anniversary has arrived today, and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for us!

I am a volunteer keeper several West Michigan lights so I think your cake was pretty cool.

Thank you for your comments. Which lighthouses? That is amazing kind of volunteer work. Do you have a blog post about that?
