Resilience

As the new year sets in, some of us are struggling. I can’t help but think about those I know who are dealing with a loss or a crisis, and how emotionally draining it can be.
After suffering from a few crises in my life, I have become more resilient. I’d like to share a story or two, but can’t, so I will only say, the path to resilience is obtainable.

I would like to share a few ideas:

• Being optimistic and expect the good things. Visualize what you want, instead of worrying about what your fears are, will help build resilience.

• Trusting your instincts in your ability to solve problems builds confidence and resilience

Another way to think about it is this quote by Bruce Lee.

Resilience, tresa meyer clark, optimistic
