Serious Design

Getting Serious
Designing is always a serious process for me — whether it’s for an invitation, jewelry design, or photo vignette — I am drawn to certain colors and themes. However, sometimes it is more about giving back. Currently, I am creating artwork as part of a year-long design competition through Minted’s Every Mother Counts Birth Announcements Challenge. Through the challenge they provide skilled and compassionate care to Haitian mothers throughout their pregnancies.

This Baby Shower Invitation is inspired by the owl drawings in my sketchbook. A modern baby shower invite that provides artwork for the expecting Mom WHO uses her artsy inspirations to guide her. A playful owl design that can be used for a gender reveal party theme. Perfect for all seasons. Offers a portrait orientation for an A-7 envelope. Prominently features Mom’s name. An artistic feel with original artwork, a current design style, and typefaces.

I’ll be posting more artwork from this challenge and my serious inspirations.

Your feedback is welcomed!
