Atop

I don’t have a bucket list, but if I did, this park would be on it.

I captured this stunning scenery at the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore near Elmira, Michigan. Stationed atop in the sand, with camera in hand, looking over the edge of the dunes. The vastness of Lake Michigan, and the seemingly endless cliff of sand, made me feel very small. The sky was painted with beautiful clouds, but the wind was picking up speed. To our dismay, the sprinkles from a partly cloudy day quickly turned to a down pour. Ahhhh, Pure Michigan!
