Fur Baby Portrait

Inspiration can come from anywhere. My sketchbook is a great example of thoughts developed from dreams, to chatting with friends at work, old photographs, or flower textures. I fell in love with Fabio the rottweiler. His expression inspired me!  Thank you to Richa from from iscriblr.com for allowing me to use an image that caught my eye on her beautiful Instagram page: rakishricha

Drawing this dog has helped me to develop my artistic style. I love simple modern shapes, and I’m driven to create depth. Conveying an emotion or feeling is important to me, so I hope I made you smile too.

This design is created for a tea towel in my Spoonflower shop, and will be available later as an art print. If you are interested in having your pet drawn, I would love to hear from you!

What inspires you?
