Sunrise in Petoskey
~~~ There is not enough time in a day, a month or a year to appreciate everything around us. This post was inspired by the Daily Post. https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/look-up/ Photography by Meyer Clark Studio © 2016
Opposites Attract
I can never get enough of the colors framed up in a sunset shot. The opposite of the dark images against the bright light inspired me. This was a beautiful evening in the Petoskey Marina on Lake Michigan. This post was inspired by: Opposites | The Daily Post https://dailypost.wordpress.com/photo-challenges/opposites/
The Joy of June
The days are getting shorter now that Summer has started. Trying to soak up all the beauty around me and keep it safe in a few pictures.
Eye Candy Witness
Eye Candy is a phrase used to describe something beautiful to look at. The sunset last night was just that. We were drawn to the light as it ushered our eyes into a celebration of color! Almost Solitude
Early morning at Clinch Marina, I thought I was alone at 6:45 a.m. Usually I am by myself in the marina that early, and the sunrise shot was my goal. We, the duck and I, decided to have a photo session. It was the highlight of my morning of almost solitude.
If you are a rock lover like me, you’ll enjoy looking down at all the stones when it rains, and how the detailContinue reading “Michigan Home”
Anchors and Moments
Sometimes, just after finishing a new jewelry piece I think to myself, well that won’t take a lot of time to recreate. The truth is, I amContinue reading “Anchors and Moments”
Back to School Connection
In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Connected.” Starting out in the world as a first-grader can be frightening, but not in Germany. Parents help their children make the transition from kindergarten to primary school more enticing. They give them a “schultuete” or school cone. The large cone is decorated and filled with candyContinue reading “Back to School Connection”
Makes Me Smile
Is there one word to describe feeling happy and sad at the same time? The last day of August brings to mind how very short the Summer season is in Michigan. While I’m feeling melancholy that my favorite season is almost gone, I pore over all the Summer months of photos to get a sense of time goneContinue reading “Makes Me Smile”
