Mushroom Houses

This is my interpretation of the mushroom houses in Charlevoix, Michigan, inspired by the mid-century architecture of Earl Young. I’ve spent many sunny days searching for Petoskey stones on the beach, and watching the boats passing through the channel. This is my second hometown, Charlevoix.

Mushroom houses by Tresa Meyer-Clark

Art Deco Frog

Sometimes ideas for artwork come to me when I’m waking up in the morning while still resting.  The flower motif for the my Art Deco style frog design was revealed to me as I was watering plants in our family room. I’ve always believed, to have fresh ideas, one must step away from work and get involved in other enjoyable activities. So, I guess I’ve always liked taking care of plants and flowers.

Getting the tools out to create a new patio or a graphic design using Illustrator keeps us very busy. Looking through our photos, I believe we are blessed with a supportive family, a good work ethic, and the creative skills that make our lives more interesting and sweet. Some sarcasm is fun too. Today, I posted a few of my FAVORITE photos from 2017 to now. It was hard to just choose a few. Follow me on Instagram to see more.

I hope to share smiles, fun and photos with you in the future! The new plan is to create a new WordPress site where I can share more of the process of my artwork and textile designs with a professional.com site.

I would like to stay in touch. Follow this blog MeyerClarkStudio and Instagram and Facebook and my textile designs at ClarkyWorks.
